Fern Evelyn Mercer

FERN ROUSSEAU MERCER, December 5, 1923. Passed away January 11, 2017, after a long illness. Fern was born in Gagetown, MI and lived most of her life in St. Clair Shores, Richmond and North Carolina. Fern was a great mother to her children, Shellie (Rousseau) Schroudt, (Richard Schroudt), Karen Rousseau Becker (Thomas Becker). She was predeceased by two of her children, Thomas Rousseau and Sandra Rousseau Huntley. Fern also leaves behind Her Son-in-law Michael Huntley and Daughter-in-law Deborah Manning Rousseau, her grand-sons, Christopher Schroudt, David Schroudt, Matthew Rousseau, Robert Becker, grand-daughter Nicolle Huntley and great-grand-daughter Danielle Huntley. She was a wonderful artist and painted oil portraits and still life. Fern was also a business woman in the Richmond area and a Real Estate Broker in North Carolina. Memorial Service is being held at Trinity Lutheran Church 35110 Division Rd, Richmond MI on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 12:00 noon.
