Evelyn Mae Gabriel, 84, of New Baltimore, was granted her angel wings on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She spent her final days at home surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born to the late George and Amelia Price on March 2, 1933. She was married to her husband, the late John Gabriel, on September 26, 1959. Caring mother of Nancy (Larry) Uleski, John Gabriel, Jill (John Zielinski) Gabriel, June (Angelo) Loria and Susan Gabriel; Adored grandmother of Bradley, Aimee, Max, Sara, Angelo, Adam and Ryan; Great grandmother of Faith, Ava and Nolan. Evelyn had a gentle disposition, kind smile, and was loved by all who knew her. She was an artist and enjoyed going to the casino.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
