ELEANOR J. WRONSKI 95, of Wales Twp., died Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Medilodge of St. Clair after an extended illness. Mrs. Wronski was born February 22, 1918 in Hamtramck, MI to the late Adam and Josephine (Salach) Balinski. She married Walter Wronski in Columbus Twp. on May 27, 1945. Mr. Wronski died December 28, 2004. Eleanor was a lifelong member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Columbus, the Ladies Altar Society and P.I.M.E. In her early years she worked with the "Rosie the Riveters" group. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #525 in Smith Creek and the Futuristics Club. She is survived by her sons; David (Judy) of Wales, Dale (Sally) of East Freedom, PA.,
Frank (Gail) of Bloomfield Hills and Joseph of Bloomfield Hills, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings; Mary Nyech, John (Henrietta) Balinski, Ted (Frances) Balinski, Celia (Frank) Matusik and Cassie Balinski. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 am Wednesday, May 8 in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. The Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor of Holy Family Parish will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 8pm with a rosary/scripture recited at 6:00 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Wednesday from 10 am until 11 am in the Church. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Columbus. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Parish Building Fund.
