Eleanor Kolasinski

ELEANOR KOLASINSKI 85 a lifelong resident of Columbus Township died Thursday, October 5, 2006 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Kolasinski was born October 13, 1920 in Midland, Michigan to the late Leon and Antionette (Olbrot) Zychski. She married Henry Kolasinski in Columbus Township on April 3, 1937. Mr. Kolasinski died April 22, 2001. Eleanor retired in 1986 as a production worker at the Lionel Train Company in Chesterfield Township after working seventeen years. She was a member of the Snyderville Lions and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by her children, Henry (Laura Logan-Beck) Kolasinski of Columbus Twp., Nancy and Theodore Nowicki of Kimball Twp., Phyllis Ellison of Columbus Twp., Doris and Rudi Klemm of St. Clair and Anita Kolasinski of Chesterfield, sister, Irene Caughill of Columbus Twp., sister-in-law, Jennie Kolasinski of Richmond Twp., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and her cat "Lucky". In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughters, Elaine Kolasinski, and Sally Copenhagen, siblings, Conrad Zychski, Anthony Zychski, Leona Jakubiak, Cecelia Gutt, Theresa Sanford, Rosalie Stayonovich and Virginia Wellenger. A funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 10:00am in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Reverend Joseph Plawecki will officiate.
