Elaine Adair Shepherd, 89, of Richmond, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Elaine was born January 1, 1931 to the late William and Lillian Cone.
Elaine is survived by her children, James (Pam), Jerry (Janet) and Jack (Jody) Smith, step son, Samuel (Joyce) Shepherd, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Alice LaFore and Connie (Joseph) Yelencich. Preceded in death by Carl Smith, Sam Shepherd, dear friend, Avery Lovell, granddaughter, Melanie, grandson Jeremy, sister Carol Livingston, and brother's-in-law, George LaFore and Ralph Livingston. Elaine spent the last three years at Leisure Manor, Richmond, MI. She enjoyed 25 years retirement in Florida. She loved spending time with family, friends, and trips to the casino. Elaine was owner of Jack & Jill Fashions, Richmond and Romeo, children's clothing stores, for 25 years.
