Edward Thomas Lavalley

Edward Thomas LaValley, 87, of Richmond, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. Edward was born July 24, 1936 to the late George and Lila LaValley. Edward is survived by his wife, Deanna LaValley, Daughter, Shelley (George) Murdick, grandchildren, John (Sarah) Gillies and Katherine (Dennis) Stuckey, great grandchildren, Emily and Logan Gillies and son-in-law, John Gillies. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Gillies and son, Berry LaValley. Ed retired after 35 years from General Telephone Co. Coached and umpired ladies softball. He spent 40 years knocking it around with the Sandbaggers golf league. Edward enjoyed woodworking and in later years mastered a unique talent for bark carving.
