Edward Krzemecki

EDWARD KRZEMECKI age 89, a lifelong resident of Columbus Township died Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens Campus. Mr. Krzemecki was born December 4, 1921 in Detroit to the late Francis and Agnes (Dziek) Krzemecki. He married Donna Naeyaert in Columbus Township on August 23, 1947. Eddie served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired as a welder from TACOM USA in 1976. He was a life member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Columbus Township and the VFW. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Donna, children; Wayne and Linda of Richmond, Michael and Lori of Richmond, James and Beth of Romeo and Patricia and Bernie Keigher of Clinton Township, a brother, Alfonse and Mary Jane Krzemecki of Memphis, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Klebba. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:00 am in Holy Family Parish, St. Philip Neri Church. Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St Philip Neri Cemetery. Visiting will be Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:00 am in the church. A rosary will be said Tuesday at 5:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center.
