Edna M. Gallo

EDNA MARION GALLO age 90 of Richmond died Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in her daughter's home after a very brief illness. Mrs. Gallo was born May 4, 1923 in Detroit to the late Fred and Mable (Lonsby) Sutfin. She married Ralph Gallo in Roscommon, MI. on November 22, 1956. Mr. Gallo died April 13, 2000. Edna and her husband were produce farmers and operated "Lisa's Market" in Richmond from 1964 to 1999. She is survived by her children; Ralph and Theresa Gallo of Macomb Twp. and Lisa (Trevor Tope) Poppe of Casco and step daughter; Cheryl and Howard Splett of AZ., grandchildren; Ralph, Patrick, Rachel and Mariano Gallo, Jennifer, James and Matthew Poppe and Tracy Valenzuela and great-grandchildren; Penelope Gallo and Lilly and Kalisti Valenzuela. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings; Nellie Perkowski, Virginia Sudzinski and Perry and Wendell Sutfin. A funeral service will be on Monday, December 16th at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm and Monday from 9 to 10am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
