Doris Bandlow

DORIS C. BANDLOW age 87, a lifelong resident of Casco Township died Thursday, March 29, 2007 in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Bandlow was born June 25, 1919 in Detroit to the late Edwin and Ursula (Stolp) Simons. She married Hazen F. Bandlow in Casco on January 30, 1937. Mr. Bandlow died January 29, 1987. Doris was a homemaker who enjoyed polka dancing, playing cards at the Casco Senior Center and going to the casinos. She is survived by her sons, Larry and (Pat) Bandlow and Dale Bandlow both of Casco, a sister, Irene Ramsey of Howell, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and devoted caregivers, Mike and Stella Czenkus. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her children, Judy in 1940, Dennis in 1960, Duane in 1998, grandson, Randy Bandlow in 1991 and sisters, Beatrice Teltow and Bertha Conant. A funeral service will be Monday, April 2nd at 11:00 am in St. James United Church of Christ in Casco. Reverend Dr. Kenneth Gadd, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Saturday from 6 to 8pm, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and from 10:30 to 11:00am Monday in the church.
