Donna Stuben

DONNA STELLA STUBEN age 66 of Columbus Township died Monday, June 23, 2014 in McLaren Macomb Hospital after a very brief illness. Mrs. Stuben was born November 7, 1947 in Ypisilanti, MI to the late Dale and Virginia (Bark) McGuffin. She earned her Registered Nursing Degree from St. Clair County Community College and married David Stuben in Port Huron on November 7, 1980. Donna worked as a nurse for the former Mount Clemens General Hospital for nineteen years. She was an amateur radio operator and enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband David, children; Denise Wolven, David (Jenee) Wolven and Deanna Wolven, step-children; Michael (Ann) Stuben, Catherine (David) Franklin, Alex Stuben, David Stuben and Jane (Mark) Williams, siblings; Ann Lashbrook, Susan (Jack) Fuller, Kathleen Burkhardt, Debra (Walter) Woods, Vicki Hall, Teri (Robert) McIntyre, Nancy (Thomas) Friedsberg, Patrick McGuffin, Michael McGuffin, Ronald (Michele) McGuffin, Joseph McGuffin, Lee (Marlena) McGuffin, brothers - in-law; Dennis Schmidt and Michael Babcock, sister-in-law; Dolly McGuffin, 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Bonnie Schmidt, Becky Babcock and Dale, Donald and Jerry McGuffin and one grandchild. A funeral service will be on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00am in St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond. Reverend John Langewich will officiate. Visiting will be Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Friday from 10:30 to11:00am in the church.
