Donald E. Siewertsen

DONALD EUGENE SIEWERTSEN 78 of Croswell, formerly of Lenox Township died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in his home after a brief illness. Mr. Siewertsen was born January 12, 1935 in Mount Clemens, MI to the late Wilbert and Donelda (Vergote) Siewertsen. He married Bonnie Hibbert in Mount Clemens on June 5, 1961. Mrs. Siewertsen died October 17, 2000. Don was a self employed contractor owning Siewertsen Construction for over fifty years. He was a member of the NRA, FOE and Moose Club. He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his children; Donald of Lexington, Kathie Mifsud of Croswell, Lorina (Mark) Doyle of Fort Myers, FL, Thomas Parke of Litchfield, IL, Terri (Larry Miller) Swantek of Fair Haven, Elizabeth (Michael) Boyce of McConnells, SC Richard of Croswell and Ronald (Rebecca Landon) of Croswell, siblings; Richard (Joyce) Siewertsen of Armada, Darlene (Dennis) Hibbert of WI, Carol (Ronald) Woltmann of Prescott, and Joann (Allen) Vaile of WI, fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Entombment will be in the Richmond Mausoleum at the Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be on Friday from 3 to 8pn and Saturday from 9 to 10am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Blue Water Hospice or the Michigan Cancer Society.
