Dolores Sprader

DOLORES ANNA SPRADER age 77, a lifelong area resident died Monday, July 14, 2008 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Sprader was born November 4, 1930 in Detroit to the late Alfred and Anna (Ziemba) Bauman. She married Paul Sprader in Columbus Township, Michigan on September 27, 1952. Dolores was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Richmond and lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary. For a short time she worked at Industrial Printing in Richmond and enjoyed horse racing, going to the casinos, reading and watching her "Soaps", Young and the Restless and Everybody Loves Raymond. Her passion was her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always loved to plan special family outings and parties. She is survived by her husband, Paul, children, Diana (Robert) Golembiewski of Allenton and Thomas (Mary) Sprader of Richmond Twp, grandchildren, Sarah Mellen of Washington, Gregory Nason of Richmond Twp. and Darren Matusik of Washington, great-granddaughter Bayta Mellen and siblings James, Alfred and Ronald Bauman of Richmond, Sandra Luenser and Marie Wagoner of Richmond and Donald Bauman of Yale. She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Sprader on October 20, 2005. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am Thursday in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Richmond. Rev. Randy Lett will officiate. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
