Dolores C. Micoff

DOLORES C. MICOFF age 81 of Sterling Heights, died Friday, September 11, 2009 in the Evangelical Nursing Home in Sterling Heights. Mrs. Micoff was born March 17, 1928 in Detroit to the late Juan and Florence (Woxchiz) Dominguez. She married John Micoff in Lenox Township, MI. on March 28, 1946. Mr. Micoff died April 29, 1997. Dolores worked as a cook for the Wolverine Community Schools and later as a custodian at the Burt Lake State Park. She was a very caring and giving person who was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing, cooking and playing bingo. She is survived by her children, John of New York, Dennis and Julie of Indian River, Gary of Gaylord, Timothy of Traverse City and Patricia and Michael Plotkowski of Sterling Heights, her brother, Gilbert and Sally Dominguez of Spokane, WA., twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, John Dominguez, Julieta Artman and Marie Rapley. A funeral service will be on Monday, September 14, 2009 at twelve o'clock noon in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be on Monday from 9:30am to noon.
