Dennis Kleinhans

Dennis (Jake) Larry Kleinhans, 75, of Richmond, Michigan passed away on March 11, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Dennis was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to Norm and Evelyn Kleinhans (Bellhorn).  He graduated from Richmond High School in 1964. Dennis worked at Skinner’s car dealership as a mechanic and retired from Ford Motor Company. Dennis enjoyed flying R/C airplanes, participating in car shows, riding around town on his Cushman scooter and socializing at the local Moose Lodge and Cook Hotel. He is survived by his four children, Scott (Cheryl) Kleinhans, Shannon (Mark) Ellis, Chelsea Kleinhans and Bonny (Devon) Behem, three grandchildren, Shauna Kleinhans, Jacob Kleinhans, Joshua (Kirsten) Kleinhans, great grandchildren, Gage and Giovanni, siblings Diana Scheible and Kirk (Nancy) Williams. Dennis is also survived by his nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents Norm and Evelyn, brother, Douglas and many close friends.

Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062
