Deborah Tuchcinski

DEBORAH JEAN TUCHCINSKI age 55 of Richmond, formerly of Clinton Township died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in her home following an extended illness. Ms Tuchcinski was born January 30, 1953 in Detroit to James and Jean (Rankin) Howitt. She married Thaddeus Tuchcinski in Detroit on March 7, 1970. Mr. Tuchcinski died in 1979. Debbie worked as a quality control inspector at LTC Roll and Engineering in Clinton Township. She was a member of an astronomy club and enjoyed reading, hiking and walking her dogs. She was a collector of antiques and dolls. She is survived by her father, James (Paula Rawlinson) Howitt of Windsor, Ont., mother, Jean Howitt of Ferndale, life partner, Shelley Champion, brothers, Robert of Sterling Heights, Kenneth of Ann Arbor, Jeffery of Ferndale and nephews, James and Todd Howitt. A funeral service will be on Friday, October 17th at 10:00am in First United Church of Christ in Richmond. Reverend Jennifer Long, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Thursday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and 9:30 to 10:00am Friday in the church.
