David J. Hope

DAVID JAMES HOPE age 67 of Richmond died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Mr. Hope was born May 1, 1947 in Maidstone, Ontario, Canada to the late James and Shirley (Davidson) Hope. He married Janet Kopp in Eastpointe, MI on March 19, 1983. Dave was a veteran of the Unitd States Army and gave thirty professional years to the Chrysler Corporation and his whole heart to his family. He was a active member of his local James Coleman VFW Post and was an avid sports enthusist who was a proud supported of all the Detroit sport teams he loved so much. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Janet, son David Jr. (Raquel) Reed, daughters; Laura (Rob) Bock, Christine Gallagher, Michelle Castellanos and Dawn (Jim) Patnsu, five siblings, thirteen grndchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many more dear friends. A memorial service was held Saturday, May 2nd at the James Coleman VFW Post in Richmond. Memorial contributions were suggested for the James Coleman VFW Post. "You will always be remembered as the hardworking, loving man that you were".
