Darrell R. Lutz

DARRELL ROBERT LUTZ age 48 of Richmond died unexpectedly Saturday, May 5, 2012 in McLaren Macomb Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Lutz was born December 10 1963 in Mount Clemens to Robert and Sue Ellen (Newell) Lutz. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1982 and attended St. Clair County Community College and Macomb County Community College. He worked as an Inside Salesman for Behler Young Heating and Cooling in Warren for twenty-seven years. Darrell enjoyed hunting, NASCAR and was an avid University of Michigan fan. He is survived by his son; Anthony Lutz and his mother, Veronica of Riley Twp., his mother; Sue Ellen Lutz of Richmond, siblings; Todd Lutz of Richmond and Becky Lutz of Columbus Twp. and niece Meaghan Lutz of Columbus Twp. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lutz on February 26, 2012. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 10:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Thomas Keef, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Richmond will officiate. Visiting will be on Monday from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
