DARLENE MARIE SLOWICZEK age 53 of Bruce Township, MI. died Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital after an extended illness. Darlene was born September 15, 1959 in Detroit to Edward and Barbara (Kowalski) Marcinkowski. She graduated from East Detroit High School in 1977 and worked as a nurse assistant at the former Mount Clemens General Hospital. She enjoyed painting and doing arts and crafts. She is survived by her daughters; Nina and Taylor Slowiczek of St. Clair Shores, parents; Edward and Barbara Marcinkowski of Shelby Township, sisters: Karen and Robert Ford of Murfeesboro, TN. and Wendy and Joseph Joseph of Clarkston, longtime companion, Greg Snider of Bruce Twp., former husband; Thomas Slowiczek of St. Clair Shores and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Visiting will be on Thursday, November 1st from 2 to 8pm and Friday from 10 to 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
