Darlene Gail Renier

Darlene Gail Renier, born on January 23, 1956 in Detroit, MI, passed away of natural causes very suddenly on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at approximately 3:15 p.m. at her home in Richmond Twp. She was the beloved daughter of Mary Lee and Kermit Tucker. She was one sister of seven children, Linda Tucker “deceased”, Bruce Tucker “deceased”, Clifton (Braunda) Tucker, Brian (Leeanna) Tucker, Douglas Tucker and Alice (Chad) Morgan. With her husband of 37 years, Lawrence Anthony Renier, married August 11, 1987. Till the day of her passing they raised her children Tyan Heather McCall “deceased”, Ian Christopher McCall “deceased”, Carl Rufus McCall and adopted daughter Heather Erin Renier. Darlene leaves behind five grandchildren, Destiny McCall, Noah McCall, Luke McCall, Mariah Arnold and Chase McCall. Also, two beautiful great grandchildren, Madison Arnold and Hudson Arnold. Her career stemmed from waitressing and spanned from the Lemon Tree restaurant and Otto’s Crispy Corn “as manager” in the East Land Mall to a great many Arby’s Roast beef restaurants as manager, general manager and training manager where she single handedly rewrote the Arby’s training manual to unify training in all Arby’s Corp. restaurants. She trained countless Arby’s managers and workers through her career and was highly revered by top management as well as store managers as one of the top managers in the industry. Near the end of her “extended” stay of her career she gained many awards as well as the coveted Deans List. She retired in 2021 and spent much of her time with her husband “Larry” and their pup “Rocky the Boxer” camping and enjoying extended trips.

She is and always will be loved by many and sorely missed by all.

A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with a visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Service on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
