Darlene Ann McVannel, 85, of Chesterfield Twp., passed away at Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility Thursday, May 24, 2018. Darlene was born August 26, 1932 to Elmer and Clara Grondin. Beloved wife of the late John McVannel Sr.; caring mother of Lana (Michael) Derocha, Lynn (Fred) Cox, John McVannel Jr., Daniel (Lori) McVannel and Duane (Tina) McVannel; cherished grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 16 and great, great, great grandmother of 2. Preceded in death by her son Ed Kelly. Darlene was a long time parishioner of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
