Dan was born December 22, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan son of the late Donna (Shaw) Laing and John Laing.
He passed away peacefully at his home in Richmond on Monday, October 14, 2019 with his wife Laura by his side.
Dan enjoyed boating, the beach, sunshine and warm weather. He was also an avid reader of just about anything.
Those who knew him will never forget him. His humor, wit and smile were precious and will live on in our memories forever.
Cremation has already taken place.
