Cynthia Helen Schuman, 75, of New Baltimore, passed away December 8, 2024 at Henry Ford
Macomb Hospital. Cynthia was born January 23, 1949 to the late Andrew and Patricia
Christians. Beloved wife of Danny Schuman; adored mother of Patricia (Dan) Monaghan and
David (Tracy) Schuman; cherished grandmother of Gage, Liberty and Ashton Schuman
Elena Monaghan, Sierra (Joe) and Jerzey Walters, and great-grandchildren Raelynn
and Sebastian Major. Also survived by her brother, Jim (Rose) Koehler. Cynthia loved
shopping on QVC for jewelry and clothing that matched her unique style. Her favorite place
to visit was Torch Lake with her mother and brother.
Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. on December 12, 2024
at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Funeral
Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on
December 13, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St., Richmond, MI 48062.
