Cynthia Fischer

CYNTHIA LEE FISCHER 58 of St. Clair Shores died Monday, June 23, 2014 in St. John Hospital in Detroit after a very brief illness. Mrs. Fischer was born May 12, 1956 in Detroit to the late William and Joyce (Moody) Short. She graduated from Lakeview High School and married Richard Fischer in Washington Township, MI on June 7, 1975. Cynthia formerly worked at the Burlington Coat Factory in St. Clair Shores and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was a devout catholic and enjoyed being with all of her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Richard, children; Eric (Lisa) Fischer of Livonia, Autumn (Steve) Szawronski of New Baltimore, Christina (Philip) Doherty of Richmond, Margaret (Jason) Phillips of Clinton Township, and Richard Fischer of Warren, siblings; Cheryl (Larry) Drouillard of Melvin, Carmen (Steve) Melick of Raisin Twp., Cheren Smith of Brown City and William (Sue) Short of Adrian and grandchildren; Logan, Gabe, Madison, Kylee, Shelby, Lucas, Nolan, Gavin, Mackenzie, Andrew and Riley. A funeral service will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Visiting will be on Friday, June 27th from 3 to 9pm and Saturday from 9 to 10am.
