Clara Ostrowski

CLARA OSTROWSKI 93 of Lenox Township, formerly of Ferndale and Detroit died Saturday, October 17, 2009 in Medilodge of St. Clair. Mrs. Ostrowski was born January 18, 1916 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Karl and Wanda Bielak. She married Aloysius Ostrowski. Clara worked as a floral designer and then retired to care for her handicapped son. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ostroswki of Detroit, grandchildren, Tina Husch (Jeff Wolfe), Tony Ostrowski, Vincent Ostrowski, Lisa (Tom) Decarlo, Carl (Tonya) Ostrowski and Gary (Jamie) Ostrowski. Great-grandchildren, Falen and Shaun Wolfe, Nicholas, Brandon and Cody Husch, Vincent, Rachel, Zachary, Victoria, Christopher, Cassandra and Abigail Ostrowski and great-great-grandchildren, Jade Wolfe and Damien Ostrowski. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Walter Ostrowski on March 9, 2009. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 9:30am in the chapel of St. Michael Cemetery in Richmond. Reverend John Nedumcheril, assistant pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church will officiate. Arrangements were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.
