Christine Helen Babcock

Christine Helen Babcock, of Ray Township, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023 surrounded by the love of her family.  Christine was born February 11, 1946 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, a daughter of Thomas F. and Kathryn J. (Duckert) Murphy.  She was united in marriage with Bob R. Babcock on June 3, 1967 at Grace Episcopal Church in Mt. Clemens. She enjoyed playing the piano, organ, guitar and singing.  Her hobbies included painting and glass art. One of her favorite things was to be at her cottage along the Lake Huron shore where she would enjoy watching the freighters go by.  She was devoted to her children and family and her greatest joy in life was time spent with her grandchildren. Christine is survived by her husband, Bob Babcock; children, Lisa (Steve) Rector and Bill (Nines) Babcock; grandchildren, Alexander and Rosaleen; and siblings, Thomas W. (Rebecca) Murphy and John (Laura) Murphy. She was predeceased by her parents.

Inurnment will take place at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township.
