CHESTER JOSEPH WARNER age ninety-two, a lifelong resident of Richmond died Saturday, July 28, 2007 in Elas Assisted Living Home in Memphis after an extended stay. Mr. Warner was born August 8, 1914 in Richmond to the late Joseph and Patranella (Masrick) Warner. Chet worked as a chemist's assistant for DuPont Corporation. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond and enjoyed repairing bicycles, old cars and airplanes. He is survived by his niece, Sylvia Beier of Richmond, great-nephew, Clifford Beier of Richmond and great-niece, Pamella (Thomas) Welsh of Romeo. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Schmidt in 1989 and his brother, Leroy in 1997. A funeral service was on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:00am in St. Peter's Church. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh and Reverend Randy Lett officiated. Burial was in Richmond Cemetery.
