Charles D. Ryan

CHARLES DUDLEY RYAN age 81 of Mount Clemens died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at McLaren Macomb Hospital after a prolonged illness. Mr. Ryan was born April 1, 1934 in Providence, KY to the late Lynn and Embry (Moody) Ryan. His life partner, Cleo Kelly died July 9, 2008. Charlie was a proud veteran of the United States Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Missouri during the Korean War. He loved joking and being with friends and family. He is survived by his siblings; Ralph (Alice) Ryan of Lenox, Brenda Ryan of Harrison Township, Sheila (John) Winarski of Fraser and John T. Ryan of Troy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Lynn Ryan and sisters; Clara Gene Bellish and Shirley Ann Harlan. A funeral service will be Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 5:00pm in Rewalt funeral Home in Richmond with visiting from 2:00pm until the time of service. Reverend Todd Evans, pastor of the Congregational Church of New Haven will officiate. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery in New Haven.
