Casmere Wieczorek

CASMERE WIECZOREK 89 of Casco Township died December 31, 2006 in his home. Mr. Wieczorek was born January 31, 1917 in Hamtramck, Michigan to the late Jacob and Magdeline (Stoinski) Wieczorek. He married Helen Chmiel in Detroit on July 14, 1942. Mrs. Wieczorek died January 8, 1991. Cass worked as a millwright for Bohn Aluminum in Detroit for twenty-nine years until they went out of business. He then went to work for Fisher Body as a millwright until he retired in 1980 after working fourteen years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and enjoyed wood crafting. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Daniel Keller of Casco, grandsons, Scott (Jaclyn)of Lenox, Paul (Makel) of Kimball, Christopher (Renee) of Washington and great-grandchildren, Mikayla O'Shea and Cody, Alyssa, Hunter, Preston, Victoria and Alayna Keller. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his son, Ricky in 1981 and siblings, John and Zygmund Wieczorek, Dolores Pellitier, Wanda Juszkowski, Vicki Wisnieski, Mary Mulawa and Lottie Wieczorek. A funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3 to 8pm.
