Caryl Joanne Pagels

Caryl Joanne Pagels, 81, passed away on April 12, 2021 surrounded by family at her home in Richmond. She was the loving daughter of the late Martin Struhar and Mary Viscosi and was born on July 20, 1939. Caryl graduated from Macomb Community College and shared her love and caring as a Registered Nurse for thirty years. She was the loving wife of Ronald Pagels for 43 years and the caring mother of Gina (Joe) Fanelli, Anton (Beth) Suarez, Matthew Suarez, Rick (Minyi) Pagels, Shannon Ruthenberg, Randy (Nancy) Pagels, Kelly Rial, Kim Sherwood, and PJ (Dave) Kolhoff. She was preceded in death by brother Martin Struhar and survived by her brother William Struhar. Caryl was loved by her seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She enjoyed her flower garden, quilting and winters in Florida with friends and family.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
