CARRIE LEE SHUE (WITTNER) age 42, a lifelong resident of Columbus Township died unexpectedly in her home on April 8, 2011. Carrie was born June 20, 1968 in Port Huron, MI. to Lawrence and Luella (Hebel) Shue. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1987. Carrie was a member of the Columbus Bible Church and attended the Ladies Bible class. She was an adamant fan of the "Aerosmith" band especially Joe Perry. She enjoyed all music, fishing, camping and baking goodies for her children. She is survived by her children; Emily and Maxwell Wittner of Avoca, parents; Lawrence and Luella Shue of Columbus Twp., siblings; Larry Shue of Richmond, Dennis Shue of St. Clair Shores and Bronwen Abel of Richmond, former husband and friend, Richard Wittner of Avoca, former in-laws; Richard Wittner of St. Clair Twp. and Diane Wittner of Croswell and special "Oma", Anna Wittner of Clinton Twp. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Ray Abel in January of 1999. A funeral service will be on Thursday April 14th at 10:30am in the Columbus Bible Church. Reverend Woodrow Nelson, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Willow Grove Cemetery in Armada. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Thursday from 10:00 to 10:30am. in the church. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
