Carol Claire Lafore

Carol Claire LaFore, 72, of Richmond, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer Tuesday, July 11, 2017. Carol was born to the late Eugene and Margaret Pini on December 25, 1944. Loving wife of Charles Lafore; Cherished mother of Carrie (Russell) Francis, Curtis (Trina) Lafore and Caren Kosal; Special grandma of Travis, Carlie, Candice, Curtis, Aurora, Noah and Owen. Also, survived by her siblings Lillian (Bob) Lang, Eugene Pini, David Pini, Louise (Larry) Manzetti, Doris (Jim) Manzetti, Suzie Jones, Mary (Roger) Isola, Alice Schmitt, John (Jodi) Pini, Jake Pini, Jerry (Penny) Pini and Sister-in-Law Kathy Pini. Preceded in death by her brother Paul Pini and Brother-in-Law Bernard Schmitt. Carol was a very active, long time parishioner at St. Augustine Catholic Church and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed spending time at their cottage in the Upper Peninsula with her family, 4 wheeling, golfing and cooking. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062. Memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church.
