Carlo Fantin

Carlo Fantin, 89, of Memphis, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at McLaren Port Huron Hospital. Carlo was born in Fanzolo, Italy on October 5, 1935 to the late Natale and Edvidge Fantin. Beloved husband of Priscilla Fantin; adored father of Lisa (John) Bergeski, William (Teresa) Fantin, Gerald (Terese) Fantin, Jody (Cynthia) Fantin and Sandra (Christopher) Schremser; grandfather of Alexa, Lauren, Jacob, Eric, Colleen, Frank, Sophie, Corey, Roman, Jordon, Olivia, Kaitlyn and Brooke. He is a proud great grandfather to 7. Preceded in death by his son, Gerald Fantin and siblings, Maria, Bruno, Giovanni, Ernesto, Danielo and Mario.. Carlo enjoyed gardening, making wine, chopping wood, and spending time with his family. He loved nature and spending time in the woods. One of Carlo’s greatest achievements in life was being the perfect example of how a man should provide for his family. Family was everything to Carlo,and he was everything to his family.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass Friday, November 8, 2024 at Holy Family Parish, 79780 Main St, Memphis, MI 48041.
