Brendan Patrick-Gilbert Tank, 19, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Brendan was born December 10, 1999 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He is survived by his mother, Shelley Rettell, father, Robert Tank, girlfriend, Autumn Day, Sisters, Amanda (Kevin Proudfoot) Swerdan, Gabrielle (Paul DeJules) Tank and Nikki (Brad Cote) Tank, nieces and nephews, Errin, Madisyn, Kallan, Calvin, and Caroline. Brendan is also dearly missed by his grandmothers, Marie Finley and Lenore Tank, as well as many aunts and uncles, Gary and Kathy Finley, Pam and Lynn Wattle, Steve and Marie Finley, Randy and Elizabeth Finley, Brenda and Michael Boutin, Scott Finley, Genevieve and Mark Marnon, Jim Tank and Sue Bartus, and John and Shannon Tank. Brendan is also cherished in the hearts of numerous cousins and great friends.
Brendan enjoyed surrounding himself with nature, hiking trails, and bonfires with friends. Some of his other hobbies included fishing, swimming, and playing video games. He loved to listen to music and spend time with his family and countless friends. A free spirited and kind hearted individual, Brendan brought a smile to the face of everyone he encountered. Those that remember him, will always treasure his judgement-free attitude and supportive nature.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, Michigan 48062.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at the Holy Family Parish,
