Beverly Faye Wendt, 86, of Richmond, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Leisure Manor. Beverly was born October 1, 1935 in Benton Harbor to the late Ernest and Faye Doddington. Loving wife of the late William Wendt; cherished mother of Cindy (John) Sutton and the late Deborah Blair; grandmother of Heather (Tyler) Schrader and Jeremy (Amanda) Sutton; great grandmother of Hadley Faye Schrader. Also, survived by her sister-in-law, Holly Wendt. Beverly is preceded in death by her siblings, Donald (Elsa) Doddington, Lorraine (Harold) Haynes, Dorothy (Al) Kaufman, Jane (Henry) Meyer, Maurice (Marilyn) Doddington and Duane Doddington, in-laws Melvin (Bernice) Wendt and brother-in-law, Robert Wendt. Beverly married the love of her life, William Wendt, on November 12, 1955. She loved being outdoors, camping with the kids when they were younger and enjoyed working in her yard and looking for treasures at garage sales and resale shops. Mostly she loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 12:00 P.M. with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Service Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond, MI 48062.
