Betty Jean Kratt

BETTY JEAN KRATT age 79 of Eastpointe died Friday, July 30, 2010 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Kratt was born March 11, 1931 in Detroit to the late Clarence and Edith (Ankrapp) Caughill. She married Kenneth Paul Kratt in Detroit on May 13, 1950. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and going to the casinos but her true enjoyment was being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, children, Karen (Frank) Thomas of Gaylord, Ken (Debra) Kratt of Royal Oak, Dave (Delynn) Kratt Barrington, IL., Cindy Lemke of Gaylord, Mike (Von) Kratt of Columbus Twp., Michele (Bill) Hanagan of Harrison Twp. and Karole Rutherford of Eastpointe, sister, Grace Ross of Capac and grandchildren, Jamie, Edward, Justin, Kayla, Morgan, Ian, Lenny, Liana, Austin, Owen, Evan, Katie, Danny, Kourtney and Larissa. She was preceded in death by siblings, Evelyn Gratopp, Elizabeth Richardson and Frank Caughill. A funeral service will be Monday, August 2, 2010 at 10:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Brian Wise, pastor of the Community Baptist Church of Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Kittridge Cemetery, Columbus Township.
