Bernard Charles Osebold

Bernard Charles Osebold, Sr. , 89, passed away peacefully in the arms of his daughters Sandra Jonardi and Donna Sowinski on the morning of September 9, 2016 at Rose Senior Living in Clinton Twp, MI. He was a loving, caring Father of Lynn (Roger) Rounds, Sandra (Bill) Jonardi, Joseph (Sheila) Osebold, Ilene (Steve) Green, Bernard (Kathy) Osebold Jr, Gregg Osebold, Lisa (Chris) Boucher, Donna (Rob) Sowinski and Andrew (Ruthann) Osebold. Cherished Grandfather of 21 and Great Grandfather of 17. Bernard is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth Maxine Osebold and grandson, Christopher Osebold. Bernard served proudly in the United States Navy at the end of WWII. After the war he worked at Household Finance where he met his future bride Ruth Maxine. He then went on to become the Vice President of City National Bank. After 20 + years he retired and moved to Florida. In 2014 he and his wife moved back (Home) to Michigan. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on October 6, 2016 at St. Mary Mystical Rose Church, 24040 Armada Ridge Rd., Armada, MI 48005. Rite of Committal will be held for Bernard and Ruth Maxine Osebold at 2:00 p.m., October 6, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd., Holly, MI 48442.
