Barbara Jean Koran

Barbara Jean Koran, age 72, of Wales Township, died Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was born May 5, 1940 in Detroit to the late Edward and Rose (Fulton) Regan. Barbara married Robert E. Koran on February 7, 1959 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in November 5, 2006. Mrs. Koran enjoyed trying her luck at the casinos, playing bingo and getting together with her girl friends for Tuesday night cards. She is survived by her son, Danny (Monica) Koran of Wales Twp.; a daughter, Kathy (Tom) Miller of Emmett; two grandchildren, Ryan and Stacy Miller and two great grandchildren, Alexis and Tyler Miller; a sister, Gerry Wietecha of Roseville and two brothers, Chuck (Melanie) Regan of Chesterfield and Ed (Sandy) Regan of Colorado. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Regan. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 with visitation an hour prior to service. Memorials may be made to the family.
