BARBARA EWALD age 81, a thirty year resident of Richmond died Monday, March 28, 2011 in Marwood Manor Nursing Home in Port Huron, MI. Ms. Ewald was born August 14, 1929 in Detroit to the late Carl and Ellen (Heglund) Hasselblad. Barbara graduated from Grosse Pointe High School and attended the Detroit School of Arts. She was the owner and groomer of the Magic Touch Dog Grooming Salon in Richmond for thirty years. She enjoyed painting and being with her dogs. She is survived by her longtime friends; Tony Maniaci of St. Clair, Nikki Lerg of Casco and cousins in Denmark. Arrangements for a memorial service are pending at this time.
