Anthony May

ANTHONY WILBUR MAY 88, a lifelong resident of the Richmond and Casco area died Thursday, November 23, 2006. Mr. May was born January 13, 1918 in Richmond to the late Albert and Catherine (Biez) May. He married Stella Karolak in Richmond on February 19, 1944. Mr. May worked as a self employed farmer and retired in 1975 after thirty years service as a supervisor for Chrysler Corp. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and enjoyed Hunting, trapping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Stella, sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Sharon May of Casco, David and Cynthia May of Troy, daughter-in-law, Eileen May of Westland, brother, Edward May of Lincoln Park, grandsons, Justin, Nicholas, Adam, Matthew, Michael, Marcus and Mitchell, great-grandsons, Ethan and Patrick. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry May on July 8, 2004 and siblings, Peter, Joseph, Stanley, John, Anna Doss, Mary Stupar and Lottie Harrington. A funeral Mass was on November 27, 2006 in St. Augustine Church. Reverend Joseph Plawecki, pastor officiated. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery, Richmond.
