Anne Fistler

ANNE THERESA FISTLER age 87 of Utica, formerly of Richmond died Sunday, November 16, 2008 in Arden Courts Assisted Living in Plymouth. Mrs. Fistler was born June 7, 1921 in Detroit to the late Robert and Stella (Pojnar) Przybyla. She married Howard Fistler in Columbus Township on June 2, 1940. Mr. Fistler died in 1988. Anne was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crocheting and tending to her flowers. She was a longtime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Mrs. Fistler is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharilyn and Al Majewski of Plymouth and Gail and James Milne of Paris, Ontario, sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Elmer Ferguson of Lenox Township, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sally Newman in 1995. A funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:30am in St. Augustine Church. Monsignor George Browne will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. . Memorial contributions may be directed to Angela Hospice, Livonia, Michigan.
