ALPHONSE ALBERT WINNE age 81 a lifelong resident of Memphis died Saturday, March 31, 2007 in Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. Mr. Winne was born February 1, 1926 in Detroit to the late Gerard and Gabriella (DeMester) Winne. Al was an area grain farmer who enjoyed helping his friends and neighbors. He is survived by his brother, Jerry and Gail Winne of Berville, sister, Irene Bloch of Clinton Township and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Leonard Bloch in 1981. A service of remembrance will be Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home conducted by In-House Hospice. Cremation will follow the service.
