Alfred Bauman age 81, a lifetime resident of Richmond died unexpectantly Thursday, January 8, 2015 in McLaren Macomb Hospital. Mr. Bauman was born February 1, 1933 in Richmond to the late Alfred and Anna (Ziemba) Bauman. He graduated from Richmond High School and was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Louella Lohr in Richmond on July 3, 1954. He was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond, and the VFW Post in Roseville, CA. He is survived by his children Deborah (David) Tardiff of Clarkston, Pamela (Robie) Clearwood of St. Clair, Brenda Bauman of Roseville, MI, and Michael Bauman of Kimball, siblings James (Elaine), Donald, Ronald (Diane), Marie Wagner, and Sandra (Max) Lesner, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Louella and sister Delores Sprader. A funeral service will be Tuesday, January 13 at 11am at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Haller, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday, January 12 from 2 to 8 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Tuesday from 10:30 to 11 in the church.
