Albert R. Johnson

ALBERT R. JOHNSON age 60 of Richmond died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Johnson was born August 29, 1949 in Detroit to the late Albert and Anita (Buckley) Johnson. He married Karen Wiseman in Detroit on May 2, 1970. Mr. Johnson graduated from Cody High School in Detroit in 1968 and attended Henry Ford Community College for two years. He retired as a Tool and Die Maker from Chrysler Corp. on October 31, 2008 after forty-one years service. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Richmond and the Train Collectors Association. He enjoyed collecting all types of toy trains, circus model buildings, miniature old cars and old toys. He is survived by his wife, Karen, children, Jeffrey (Sandra) of Warren and Sherry Johnson of Livonia and siblings, John (Mary) of Canton, James (Cheryl) of Dearborn, David of Warren, Charles (Kathy) of Southgate and Sharon (Donald) Dobney of Whitelake. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife's parents, Frank and Dorothy Wiseman. A funeral service will be on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10:00am in the Community Baptist Church. Pastor Bryan Wise will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home and Friday from 9:30 to 10am in the church.
