ALAN EDWARD GOSSELIN age 87 of Columbus Township, MI died Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Blue Water Hospice Home in Marysville. Mr. Gosselin was born September 26, 1925 in Detroit to the late Edward and Bessie (Callow) Gosselin. He married Jessie "Rhonda" Beaton in Sault Saint Marie, Ont. on June 26, 1947. Mrs. Gosselin died December 6, 2006. Al was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II and was the owner and operator of the Cook Hotel in Richmond for over forty years. He also owned Michigan Sign Erectors and Silver maple Farm in Columbus Township. He was of member of the Shriner's and the Richmond Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his children; David (Cherlynn) OF Columbus, Timothy (Karen) of Lenox and Robin Gosselin of St. Clair, grandchildren; Kathy Gosselin, Lisa Gosselin, Jason Christopher, Ashley Hoppa and Sam Gosselin and great-grandchildren; Keenan and Kayla Gosselin and Liam Opitz.
