Adaline Singer

ADALINE SINGER age 94 a lifelong resident of Richmond died Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Mrs. Singer was born November 29, 1920 in Richmond to the late William and Etta (Wilton) Gohlke. Adaline graduated from Richmond High School in 1939 and has been a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and St. Augustine Catholic church both of Richmond. She married Norbert Singer in Richmond on June 25, 1988. Mr. Singer died March 25, 2009. Adaline worked as a tax preparer for many years. She served on the Richmond City Council for ten years, was a secretary at Hirt Reality in Richmond, charter member of the Richmond Historical Society and a member of the Ladies Aide Society. She is survived by her dear friends and caregivers; George and Mary Fealko, Albert and Janet Colins, Sallie Craig and Edwin Holmburg all of Richmond. A funeral service will be on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Roger Schleef will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Richmond. Visiting will be on Sunday, March 22nd from 2 to 8pm and Monday from 9 to 10am. Memorial contributions are suggested for the Richmond Historical Society.
