Aaron Henry Oswald

Aaron Henry Oswald, 82, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024. Born on May 11, 1942, Aaron lived a full and vibrant life, deeply devoted to his family, work, and passions. He is survived by Janet, his beloved wife of 62 years, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and partnership. Together, they raised three children: Michaelle (Jim), Wade (Anne), and Todd (Heather). Aaron was the proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored and cherished. Aaron retired from General Motors after a long and successful career as a design supervisor, where his leadership and innovation were highly respected. His love for aviation was a cornerstone of his life, especially his involvement with his BD-5 plane and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) chapter, where he found community and joy. Aaron’s legacy will be remembered for his dedication, love for his family, and his unquenchable passion for flight. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time Service October 26, 2024 at The Rock Macomb Church, 49450 Gratiot Ave., New Baltimore, MI 48051
