AARON WILLIAM KOENIG age 39 of Imlay City, formerly of Anchor Bay died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Mr. Koenig was born July 31, 1973 in Seoul Korea. He was adopted by his loving parents, Donald and MaryLou (McCulloch). Aaron graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 1991 and attended Macomb County Community College. He worked as a welder at Urgent Industries in Lapeer. He enjoyed riding his Harley and four wheeling on the Sand Dunes up north. He is survived by his children; Wesley and Mia Koenig of Washington Twp., parents; F.W. (Butch) and MaryLou Fendler of Lenox Township, siblings; Krista (Tony) Sabilia of Gales Ferry, CT and Adam Grewe of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Koenig in February of 1979. A funeral service will be on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:30 am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Mark Evans will officiate. Visiting will be Thursday from 3 to 8pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
