Lucy Johanna Burke

Lucy Johanna Burke, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Medilodge of Richmond. Lucy was born December 3, 1933 to the late Francis and Gertrude Flieger. Beloved wife of the late Leo Burke; caring mother of John (Libby) Burke, Deborah Empson, Raymond (Theresa) Burke, Shannon (Mike) Jennings, Patrick Burke, Leo Burke, Gary (Tammy) Burke and Kim (Mark) Specht; grandmother of 21; great grandmother of 19. Also, survived by her sister's Johanna Grimmer and Rita (Anthony) Orlando, brother-in-law Mike Lalka and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother's, John and Gerard Flieger, sister, Trish Lalka and brother-in-law, Arthur Grimmer. Lucy was a long time member of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Thursday, June 6, 2019 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 57575 Romeo Plank Rd, Ray Twp., MI 48096.
In Lieu of flower's memorial donations may be made to "Wishes of the Family"
